January Favourites | 2016

Can’t believe we are already 4 days into February. So here are the things I have been loving in the month of January. There aren’t that many products but there is a good mix of different ones. Hope you enjoy!

The first thing I have loved using is this Real Techniques Setting Brush. You can buy this brush individually or in a set of three. I got the collectors edition sculpting set over christmas and I just loved using this brush to apply my highlight it’s a perfect size and shape. It does also work well as a setting brush as that is what it is designed for but who says you can’t use it for anything else. If you would like the set click here.

Next product I have been loving is the MAC Fix Plus. Now its not a new product for me, I have been using this everyday for probably the last 2 years. But this is the cucumber scented one. I bought it last summer when MAC came out with I think 3 or 4 different scented ones and they were limited addition. I have so many back ups I didn’t actually start using this one until last month. I love it so much, the cucumber scent freshen up my face just that little bit more. If you would like this product click here.

I was trying to find a good contour palette from the drugstore and decided to try the Barry M Chisel Cheeks contour kit. I fell in love with the with this palette especially the bronze and contour colours. The highlight colour is okay but I don’t use it as much. I think this is a beginner friendly palette, great for anyone that isn’t really sure about contouring or if you don’t want to spend too much money. It has a cute illustration too, explaining where to highlight, bronze and contour. If you would like this product click here.

Ahhh. The Naked palette is pure heaven. When I first went to buy one of the Naked palettes I picked the Naked 2 because I thought that I would use that palette the most. To an extend it was true but recently I bought the Naked and Naked 3 palette and I am literally in love. I’ve been using this palette everyday to do natural eye looks for work. New year means new perfume of course ha. I actually got this as a present from my boyfriend last summer but never used it until now. It came in a set with a roller ball perfume bottle which I keep in my handbag and a scented body cream. It smells so sexy, I love it! If you would like this product click here.

And lastly theBalm – The Manizer Sisters palette. I believe it was limited addition but you can buy them separately. I have been reaching for this palette a lot whether it’s for cheek highlight or for highlight in the inner corner of the eyes. I originally just wanted the Mary-Lou Manizer but I thought this palette was handy for travelling because its small and compact. I use all of the colours and they work well as eyeshadows too. If you would like any of the highlighter click below.
