February Favourites | 2016

I was going to leave the monthly favourites for February as we are already 9 days into March, but then I thought its better late than never. Right? So here are some of the things I have being loving in the month of Feb. Enjoy reading!Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

The first thing I was loving last month was this Matrix Oil Wonders Amazonian Murumuru Controlling oil. This soothes and tames my hair so well. I literally apply about 1-2 pumps of this to towel dry hair as a finishing treatment. On the bottle it also states that you can use this before shampooing or even while conditioning. This has changed the way my hair looks and feels, and because you don’t need to use a lot this bottle will last for a long time. Click here for this product.

Next is this beauty. The YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cil, which basically means ‘mascara for a false lash effect’. I kid you not this does what it says. The first time I used this mascara I was very surprised with the results. I think this has to be one of the best mascaras I’ve used. It is a high end one but totally worth the money. Have you tried this palette? If you haven’t you should. I believe there is a bigger version of the Smashbox Double Exposure palette but I got this small one from Boots to travel with and I’ve fallen in love with it. The colours are so pigmented. My favourite shadow has to be the chocolate brown in the bottom right corner. I use it lightly as a transition colour or heavily to smoke out a look. It hardly takes any space in my travel makeup bag. Click here for this product.

I love lip products, they are probably my favourite make up products. I have 3 different lip products I was loving last month. The first one is the Forever Aloe Lips for hydrating my soar lips. In the cold winter months my lips are so dry but and nothing has ever work as good as this lip balm. It contains Aloe Barbadensis Leaf extract and jojoba which repair and heal my dry lips. If you know me then you will know I love MAC Lipsticks. And this month my go to lipstick was the MAC lipstick in the colour Whirl. Its a matte finish which is my favourite finish. When I bought the lipstick I wanted the lipliner too but there was a big craze for this colour that it was out of stock. This colour is probably suitable for all skin colours so try it out, perfect every day nude. Click here for this product.

The last lip product is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the colour Prague. I bought this a while ago but never really wore it, but last month I wore it with a deeper lipliner and fell in love. I think I’ll get some more colours. Click here for this product.

Setting concealer has just went up to a hold other level. I received the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder as a gift from my boyfriend for Valentines and I literally haven’t used any other powder to set my concealer or my whole face. It’s not too heavy for under eye area and doesn’t make your face look too cakey. Click here for this product.

My final favourite of the month is this Yankee Candle. Recently I have been obsessed with candles, especially Yankee Candles. This one is the Sunlight on Snow and smell so good. Its great to burn in the winter, it basically smells like a cold winter morning.

I hope you enjoyed reading about what I was loving in the month of Feb.
