LOOKBOOK | 3 Ways to style Dungarees

If you’re a 90’s kid you probably would have worn dungarees at least once when you were little, I know I have. So last week I was browsing through the sale items in Topshop and I wasn’t really looking to buy anything. But then I came across a pair of dungarees; not the usual denim ones though, these were leather.

They were originally £55 down to £3 … yes you read that right £3! I was shocked when I saw the price and happy that it was in my size. I really like the fit of these so I thought I’ll focus my post around it.

Starting with the first look, these are just my thoughts you don’t have to go by these exactly.

Look 1: Date night
Who says you can’t wear dungarees for a date night? I actually like these with a pair of heels. Here I have paired them with a pair of black heels and a lace top. To add a little colour and texture I added this fur clutch bag.

Look 2: Casual
In this look I’ve tried to keep it minimal with a bomber jacket and a pair of white converse. I think white trainers would look great with this look too. If you wanted to add more colour you could change the colour of jacket or shoes. I also added this small rucksack – it adds to the sporty look.

Look 3: Work

Obviously if you have an office job or a job where you have to wear uniform this isn’t going to be idea for you but you can still nail this look. I added a large knitted cardigan over the dungarees to give it a formal yet chic look and paired this with a pair of beautiful boots – I guess that’s what they are called ha. I love these shoes, it’s amazing what you can find in the sales.

Hope you enjoyed the post. Let me know how you would style dungarees.

Don’t forget to hit the follow button (I do return the favour).
