The month of May was the best so far for me. Had a few great weekends. Did a lot of shopping with so many different people and didn’t feel guilty a lot, ha.
So the time has come to for my month favourites, I did have lots but I narrowed it down to the absolute favourites. So lets start with my first favourite;
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette
I had my eye on this palette for ages and kept putting it off. Finally have it and love it so much. I can’t tell you how much I love it, I have literally been reaching for this palette for any eye look. I think if there’s one palette you have to get then it would be this one, it also smells like chocolate, yum.
Too Faced HangoverX Primer
Just like the chocolate bar palette I wanted to get my hands on this primer ever since I heard YouTube’s raving about it. For ages I couldn’t get my hands on it because they don’t sell it here in the UK but luckily I found it in Switzerland. I really like the texture of this primer as it’s not a silicone base. I find that it moisturizer my skin as well as priming it ready for foundation.
LA Girl Pro Conceal – Orange
Another product that has been raved about for a while now. The orange corrector helps with under eye dark circles or even other dark areas around your face. Lately it has helped me hid the dark circles, under my eyes that are paying a visit because of the lack of sleep. Not going to lie I am highly impressed at how well it works. Now I understand the craze about colour correcting.
Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder – 04
I picked this up thinking I will use it as a day-to-day bronzer but I literally haven’t stopped using it. It gives my face the perfect warmth and it is definitely buildable. I thought shade 03 might actually turn out to be too light but I was wrong. I have not touched any other bronzers or even contour colours because I can’t get enough of this one. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying.
Revlon Highlight Palette – 010 Peach Glow
I haven’t really tried that many drugstore highlighters. The only one really is the Revolution highlighting palette, so when I was looking at this shimmer strip I didn’t know if I would even use it a lot. I gave it a chance and here it is in my May favourites. I love it so much, it gives me a subtle golden/peachy glow. I think it’s perfect for my skin tone. There are other colours available but for now this one is my number 1.
Make Up Forever Mist & Fix
I don’t really own that many mists or fixing sprays, I’ve always loved Mac Fix+. In the last few months I have tried a few others and the Make Up Forever one has literally been my fav. First of all it smells great. I don’t really like spraying things on my face and hating the smell so this one is perfect. Secondly it really does hydrate my skin just like the Mac Fix+. Lastly, I regret buying the travel version but I am definitely going to purchase the full size.
That’s it for my May favourites. What were your favourites of last month? Do you like any of the products I like? Let me know down below.
