L’Oreal Pure Clay Mask | Review

Recently there has been a big hype for masks. A lot of skincare brands came out with so many different masks for different needs, L’Oreal was one of them. I bought their new Pure Clay mask last week and wanted to share my views on it.

So there are three different masks targeting different things:

  • Purity mask – purifies and mattifies
  • Detox mask – detoxifies and clarifies
  • Glow mask – brightens and exfoliates

I picked up the purity mask from Boots, currently on offer for £5 from £7.99. Pretty good deal going on. I heard a lot of good things about these masks so I definitely wanted to give them a try.

There is no doubt that the packaging is on point. I love the clear jar with the green lid. It looks very classy.

Okay now onto the product itself, the texture of the mask is very light, like a moisturising cream but then it sets matte. I didn’t want to apply it with my hands so I used the real techniques brush to apply it all over my face and neck. It says to leave for around 5-10 mins and then take off with a wet cloth or warm water. I let it dry and then took it off with warm water rubbing the mask in circular motions, as I was doing this I was so surprised with the results. I could already feel that my skin was soft. It says to use 2-3 times a week so I will be using it a few times more this week. My skin does feel clean, I think this mask would be really good for oily skin as it does mattify a little bit but not to a point where your skin feels too dry.

My first impression of this mask is very good but will be trying it a few more times. I’ll also be getting the other two so I can compare the three. Oh and you can get 10 uses out of this 50ml jar so not too bad for the price.

Let me know if you’ve tried this mask or any of the other ones and let me know you’re views on it. Any other masks you have been obsessing over?

Don’t forget to hit the follow button.
