BLOGMAS16′ DAY 9: Favourite Festive Films

Christmas holidays are always great but watching festive films makes them even better. As a family we always watch certain films every year to make our holidays memorable. I’ve put together a list, in no particular order, to maybe give you some ideas for what to watch this year. Enjoy.

1. Home Alone

I don’t about anyone else but I can’t go without watching Home Alone during Christmas holidays. I can watch it over and over again and never get bored. I love 1,2 and 3 not too keen on Home Alone 4 but I don’t mind watching it.

2. Arthur Christmas

This movie came out in 2011 but I only watched it 2 years ago for the first time and I love it. You can definitely call it a family movie and I think it’s a movie that everyone would enjoy.

3. Elf

Now how can I not mention Elf? This movie makes me laugh so much. Buddy travels from North Pole to New York in search of his real father. It’s a great movie and never gets old.

4. The Santa Claus

I love watching this movie and thinking about ‘what Santa really does’. I can’t help but become a child and believe in Santa, don’t worry I know the true, ha.

5. How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Another great movie and I love Jim Carrey’s acting. I can’t think of a better actor to play the Grinch. I used to love watching the animated film until this one came out. It’s definitely a must watch.

6. The Holiday

This one isn’t really a family tradition but love watching The Holiday during the Christmas holidays. It’s a perfect film and full of surprises.

7. Harry Potter

Now you’re probably thinking this isn’t a festive film? I know it’s not a festive film or none of the Harry Potter movies are but every year at Christmas when the whole family gets together we watch as many of the Harry Potter movies as we can. I love Harry Potter, I am truly a big fan so I wouldn’t mind watching them again and again.
