This year my Christmas holidays consist of doing my university work. But I want to try squeeze in things to do. I have made a list to help you with things you can do for your holidays, they are mostly or maybe all in London. Enjoy.
1. Winter wonderland
There’s no place like winter wonderland. Food, rides and drinks all in one place. It just brings that festive feel to the holiday period. You can also ice skate, go to watch a circus and a rotating bar – best thing, ha. If you live away from London then definitely go to a Christmas market.
2. Harry Potter Studios
I went to see the Warner Bros studio when it just opened and me being a big fan I went crazy seeing all the props. If you’re a big fan like me, then experience the making of Harry Potter this Christmas. And if you go don’t forget to have the butter beer, it’s yum.
3. Breaking Bad inspired bar
Are you a Break Bad fan? or know anyone who is? then why not go to the Breaking Bad inspired bar called ABQ. You can book tables in advance on the website, I imagine it gets very busy especially Christmas time. They also do cocktail making sessions which cost £30 and that gets you 2 hours in a RV. This also includes a welcome drink. I know my boyfriend wants to go so we’ll be going sometime soon.
4. West End
Why not watch a musical over the festive period to make it more magical? I went to watch Wiked this September and it was amazing. For the holidays I wanted to watch Aladdin the musical, but I have too much work to do. Definitely going to go once I’ve finished uni. The are many great shows like Lion King, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots and many more.
5. Ice Rink
If you go to Winter wonderland and want to go ice skating then make sure you book it way in advance because it’s always sold out. But there are other places around London where you can go ice skating with a view. To name a few; opposite the London Eye, outside the Natural History Museum, Somerset House, Westfield Shopping Centre Shepards Bush.
Hope you got some ideas for the christmas holidays starting at the end of this week. It’s getting closer and closer to Christmas, yaay. Let me know what you have planned for you holidays down below.
