July & August Favourites | 2016

I was a little naughty last month and I didn’t do my July favourite because I was working a lot but that shouldn’t be an excuse. Anyways, so this month I thought I’ll do a joint favourites kind of like a ‘Summer favourites’ as July &  August are summer months. England has had great sunshine this year with a few rainfalls in between, but we can look past that. Lets get started on the summer favourites.

April Favourites | 2016

I feel like I’ve bought so many things in April but haven’t managed to try everything out yet. So there aren’t that many favourite for last month. But never the less here are the things I have been loving in the month of April.

My first favourite is a new addition to my Mac lippie collection, Diva. It’s a deep red/burgundy colour. Love the deep colours, especially for nights out and evening events. Also can’t wait to wear it a lot in Autumn. And as always it’s a Matte formula. My MAC lipstick collection is ever-growing ha. What’s your favourite?

February Favourites | 2016

I was going to leave the monthly favourites for February as we are already 9 days into March, but then I thought its better late than never. Right? So here are some of the things I have being loving in the month of Feb. Enjoy reading!Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

The first thing I was loving last month was this Matrix Oil Wonders Amazonian Murumuru Controlling oil. This soothes and tames my hair so well. I literally apply about 1-2 pumps of this to towel dry hair as a finishing treatment. On the bottle it also states that you can use this before shampooing or even while conditioning. This has changed the way my hair looks and feels, and because you don’t need to use a lot this bottle will last for a long time. Click here for this product.

Next is this beauty. The YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cil, which basically means ‘mascara for a false lash effect’. I kid you not this does what it says. The first time I used this mascara I was very surprised with the results. I think this has to be one of the best mascaras I’ve used. It is a high end one but totally worth the money. The first thing I have loved using is this Real Techniques Setting Brush. You can buy this brush individually or in a set of three. I got the collectors edition sculpting set over christmas and I just loved using this brush to apply my highlight it’s a perfect size and shape. It does also work well as a setting brush as that is what it is designed for but who says you can’t use it for anything else. If you would like the set click here.
